Moscow court fines TikTok 3.5 million rubles over LGBT content

The Tagansky District Court of Moscow on June 30, 2026 found TikTok Pte. Ltd. guilty of an administrative offense and imposed a fine of 3.5 million rubles. According to Parni+ , the company was held liable under Part 2, Article 13.50 of the Russian Code of Administrative Offenses — for violating the procedure for restricting access to information.

According to TASS, court documents indicate that in 2025 the platform failed to remove two videos deemed to contain “propaganda of non-traditional sexual relations.” The official press release from Moscow’s courts of general jurisdiction does not specify the nature of the content.

TikTok has been fined multiple times in Russia on similar grounds: for refusing to remove LGBT-related content, for “LGBT propaganda” in videos, and for posts supporting the LGBT community. Whether any of the previously assigned fines have been paid is not reflected in court documents.
